Got the oldyworldy VHS PAL VIDEO version of As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson for a "note" from my local Oxfam excuse shop the other week.
Some "friends" I introduced each other to played it to me as soon as I stepped over their marital threshold 10 years ago, as if they were trying to tell me something.

i always need to have at least a few books ahead waiting to be read or i become slightly anxious, as if i'll want to settle down for a good read and the cupboard will be bare x more…
I have recently noticed that are at least 3 of them! All foreign so I don;t know but they are probably advertising something as they each repeat the same words throughout their entries more…

Yes I saw it on the Regional News when I visited the Mess - everyone who was in there at the time cheered loudly :)

This was the first commissioning of a ship I have ever attended! It was interesting and they kept the ceremony reasonably short - less than an hour.
We then all had champagne and nibbles - and everyone was starving!
