Today I had Sunday lunch with a friend I first met 22 years ago when we worked together in a Civil Engineering Department. Over lunch we worked out how long it has been since we last saw each other although we keep in touch via email and the odd telephone call - well it has been 8 years. We only live about 15 miles apart :roll:

As the sky was ominously darkening he did not stop in for a coffee before heading off home as he wanted to rescue his washing from impending rain.

I logged into Facebook and there was a message in my Inbox. This was from a friend I worked with 23 years ago in 1986! She lives in London now and I only know that I have not seen her in over 10 years (will work it out later). Anyway she says she is coming to Wales today! I texted her to say "where are you?" and she phoned to say she was on the train to my town with an expected arrival time in the next 10 minutes!

So this evening we are meeting and having a catch up!

This leaves me wondering....surely there will be third one as things always seem to run in threes eh?
