Well yesterday was supposed to be a very auspicious day i.e. lucky.
It was the 8th of the 8th of 08. 08-08-08
So I chose 8 on my Euromillions entry and picked it again as a lucky dip number - and - and nothing not a bean and no sign of the wretched number 8 at all 
In China they believe the number 8 to the luckiest number of all and yesterday more than 16,400 couples married in the Capital Beijing!
All superstitious nonsense blah blah blah...............

Pro You would have thought with the power of the Chinese Government and all, they could have influenced at least one measley number in the Eurolottery. That is certainly the end of my 40 year flirtation with Maoism.

Pro Number 8 hasn't been lucky for me for a while
mind you my friend (who married a chinese man) had 8 bridesmaids because of the number 8 being lucky - they are still together 24 years later so perhaps there may be something to it lol
