I have the misfortune to have a new manager who to put it bluntly is a bully of the first order. Whilst I am looking for another job it is difficult to get the time off to attend interviews especially as at my level all jobs require 2 interviews - usually 1 to 2 weeks apart. He is a manipulative man and enjoys saying "no" to annual leave. The upshot is that I need to go sick (not done this without being genuinely ill for over 10 years). I need some convincing ailment - all suggestions welcomed - just need the one day off.
Meanwhile I am considering recording our next behind closed doors meeting - this is where the bullying takes place - you reactions please.
